Non-Fiction

This paper was submitted by N Anwar in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of BA/Hon English Studies with Media Studies and Creative Writing at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College. The aim of this paper is to facilitate a better understanding of the nature of fantasy and fairy tale. It includes a discussion on the various literary theories regarding fantasy, followed by a closer look at fairy tale, being the most popular form of fantasy, its relationship to children and its purpose and social applicability. It continues with an analysis of J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit, C. S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Philip Pullman’s Northern Lights.

Fiction

An original short story about a dying dragon remeniscing about his life.

Poetry

I would argue that poetry isn't my forte, but nevertheless I do write some poetry from time to time, when the mood takes me, or when someone requests something specific. Below are links to poems that I've written. Please enjoy and remember that the laws of copyright do apply. Feel free to comment on the contact us page.
