I headed down to Brighton and Hove on Thursday to attend the opening evening of World Fantasy Con 2025. I got stuck on the M25 with everyone else, but managed to reroute and arrived by 2.00pm. After getting situated at the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel, my wife and I had a bite to eat at a Turkish restuarant on Preston St called Ephesus.
We walked the pebble beach and took in the sights for an hour before I headed over to the Doubletree Hilton, where the convention was taking place. I wasn’t allowed to record the programmed events, but I captured some footage of the stalls and did an interview with Robin CM Duncan for the Long Story Short podcast.
